Irwin County Schools will remain closed for the rest of the week. Additionally, Monday, October 7th is a student holiday and a staff in-service day. At this time, we plan for students to return on Tuesday, October 8th.
The GA Reads Breakfast Event at ICES, scheduled for tomorrow, has been canceled. We apologize for any confusion.
Irwin County Schools will remain closed Monday through Wednesday of the upcoming week (Sept 30th - Oct 2nd).
However, all 11-month and 12-month employees should report at 8:00 AM on Wednesday.
We are also asking all teachers and staff to report on Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
We will reassess the situation on Tuesday & Wednesday and provide updated information about the rest of the week at that time.

We are thrilled to invite all parents and guardians to our exciting "GA READS: Breakfast Book Buddies" event on Monday, September 30, 2024! This is a wonderful opportunity for you to spend quality time reading with your child and share in their love of books.
Event Details:
Date: Monday, September 30, 2024
Time: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Location: Your child's homeroom class
During the event, you will be able to sit with your child in their homeroom and enjoy reading together. Before you leave, make sure to stop by the media center where each student will have the chance to pick out a free book from our "Book Share" (while supplies last).
