ICHS JROTC Attends Cadet Leadership Challenge

The ICHS JROTC attended the Cadet Leadership Challenge at Georgia Military College on May 30th through June 2nd.

The Georgia Military College JROTC Department held a Leadership Camp for selected cadets from May 30-June 2. The camp included rappelling, the leadership reaction course, and water safety and survival.

The purpose of this camp is to enhance the self-confidence and teamwork of these cadets, some of whom will be our key leaders in the coming year.  Rappelling is designed to give cadets self-confidence and allow them to overcome one of their most natural fears, the fear of heights. The leadership reaction course presents the cadets with some seemingly impossible tasks which they are required to solve as teams of 4-6 persons.

All cadets who participated in the camp will receive a ribbon and tab to wear on their uniforms next year.
