Irwin County Schools

ICHS and ICMS had a visit from Georgia Department of Education's Superintendent,  Mr. Richard Woods, today. Principal, Mr. Scott Haskins and Irwin County Schools' Superintendent,   Dr. Thad Clayton, gave Mr. Woods some CASE Farm favorites to enjoy in Atlanta.  He received boiled peanuts, grits, and cornmeal. Coach Luke Roberts gave him a framed State Champion Tennis letter. Mr. Woods was very supportive to Irwin’s Tennis Teams, especially during the Championship Tournament. He visited with Mrs. Shelia Wynn. They were fellow History teachers, and Coach Ray Pierce teaches History in Mr. Woods' classroom. Before leaving, he enjoyed a visit with Dana Luke, another teacher partner.
