Public hearings will be held regarding the Irwin County Board of Education's intent to opt out of HB 581. The first hearing is scheduled for Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM. The second hearing will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at 5:00 PM, and the third hearing is planned for Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 7:30 AM. All hearings will be held at the Irwin County Board of Education Conference Center.
